On the recording, I believe it's the Xotic Robotalk. However, I don't know if he's had that one in his live-rig for a while and I think that's because you can emulate the pedal with the Line 6 FM4 Filter Mod. Now that he's replaced most of his board with the Line 6 M9, my assumption is that he can emulate the effect with that (unless they have stopped playing it live, which it's TMV, they always mix things up ;)
You can check Youtube for some videos of the Robotalk
Additionally, you can get a very similar effect with the Zvex Seek Wah
Not sure exactly what he used on the recording, but that effect can be found in Line 6 POD Farm/Gearbox modeling software and on PODxt/POD X3 devices as the 'Random S&H' modulation effect.
Rick
they are made by seymour duncan, you can get them in any guitar shop (or online store) that stocks SD pickups. good luck on your quest for a perfect guitar tone :)
Super thanks i will check it out :)
And btw what is a '59 pup and were can i buy it (probably good bad question)
I sure do! It's a Modded to sh$t Ibanez AX120 with a Symour duncan Jb. Jr. If your going to buy one i recommend just getting the ORM1 and chucking a Little '59 pup in it for those TMV tones.
It works for me :)
let me know what ya mean and i will find out.
its good to see some one finally bothered to make a list with pictures. and i think he uses more effects on stage now because i can see his bigg muff there and he uses that all the time.
ps maybe you could have some info on his amps
he has four 140htc (i think) orange amps with the paint flaked off.
and two 4x12 orange cabinet.
