I have an LTD Viper 400 and I love it. Of course, I'm biased towards ESP guitars. :P But the neck is surprisingly fast for its thickness, it's comfortable, and it has amazing sustain with the 81/85 pickup combo.

If you can find ESPs, I'd check them out. Where do you live? There aren't many places that sell them here in Georgia.

Niccce. I'm on the East Coast and get get to a guitar center if need be. I'll have to see if they cary ESP.

What makes you biased towards ESP? The fact you already have one, or do your favorite musician's play em, etc...? I have to admit I haven't played many ESP's although my brother has an ESP explorer he got a long time ago which we put EMG's into. It's not a bad little guitar.

Well , both. I have one, and it was amazing when I got it, but I was influenced to get them because my favorite band (Atreyu, see avatar ;)) uses them, and so does Metallica, Rammstein, Children Of Bodom, and a lot of my favorite metal musicians.

The guitar center I am nearest to doesn't carry ESP. They could only sell the cheap copies, normally, and since it was a Japanese-based guitar company it was harder to get a hold of than most brands.
