They did an impromptu acoustic set at our local record shop last year, and he uses a Fender acoustic. (with the .50mm custom dunlop picks, I have one. Its white with the My Dinosaur Life Album pic on it) He also assists with bg vocals. He used an Audix OM7 Dynamic mic

PS: Good work guys. I LOVE this band. So down to earth
