Comments
I checked out his guitar on the first act website, it's loaded up with an emg 81 in the bridge and a emg sa in the neck
ceramic probably :)
Could have been an Orange AD140, which is now discontinued but same as the AD30, just 140watts and different tubes.
Odds are he could've rented that one. I doubt he'd haul his entire rig to Australia.
The green ones are probably the Matamp cabs.
i really like them.
I read it in an interview in a Japanese magazine with Jona and Lee. I'd have to check at home which magazine it was though, but they mention the strings they use, and tunings I believe (C standard, Drop A#, Drop G).
I also asked Jona on twitter and he confirmed that he uses 70 for the low E, and Lee uses 80.
how do you know this is the strings they use where did u get this info from?
Just finished Jona's rig research. Have all the latest info and will post it for you guys soon (next week).
After further research, he used a Schecter C-1 Elite in the later days of CYB.
I'm surprised! I did see pics of him recording with his custom Sheena though. He most probably used an old Schecter Blackjack, back in 07 I believe? I could be wrong though, it may be an ESP (LTD) as well, as the MH-1000 is fairly similar to a Schecter C-1.
Additional info on Lee Malia:
The Gibson Les Paul he's using is a Standard Traditional Plus (Heritage Cherry Sunburst).
He no longer uses D'Addario strings. He uses Ernie Ball Not Even Slinky strings, and replaces the 6th string with an 80 gauge string. Jona has the same strings, but uses 70 instead of 80.
(btw, this is the same Mike that has been posting for some time)
Also, his black First Act custom shop guitar has an F-key hole on the top.
Cheers.
It was a pretty great show. Oli actually pulled off the Pray for Plagues screams.
not a very known brand they make mostly seven string guitars and baritones.they are really good guitars
you can have custom models from Agile too
check them out at www.rondomusic.com
I cant tell what guitar the other player is using... But it looks kinda like a PRS with EMGs.
