Pat Thompson is one of the guitar players in Alesana, an awesome post-hardcore band from Raleigh, North Carolina. We spoke to Pat this summer to find out the scoop on what his new guitar rig has in it. Early summer 2009 Pat felt it was time to change things up a bit in his rig. Here is what we found out about his new Alesana rig.

UberProAudio: How is the new Marshall JCM800 and cab working for you?
Pat: Its works but I'm playing it through a fairly new 1960s lead. It really needs a fender 2x12 to put out its true sound.

Pat: Mexico is gonna be crazy I cant wait but I cant take all of my gear with me.
