Dave King is the Irish lead vocalist and primary writer and lyricist for the Irish-American punk band Flogging Molly. In the past, Dave also played in bands Fastway and Katmandu.
Let's look at some of the gear and equipment that has been seen in Dave's Flogging Molly guitar rig.

- Gibson Advanced Jumbo Guitar (Vintage Sunburst)  
- Guild Jumbo J 12 (12-string, but he strings it with 6 strings). Uses this especially for studio work.

Dave has been said to not use any effects or amps, opting to send his guitar direct to the sound system
