Daniel Kessler is the guitarist and backup vocalist for the New York City-based band Interpol. Daniel does much of the songwriting in the band.

Here's a picture of the Casiera for comparison:

On the gibson forum forum.gibson.com/.../... they seem to think its a Casino (though it is debated)
On the last LP, he plays a Gretsch 6117T-HT Anniversary
There is a good chance that it is not a casino, but a riviera, where the minihumbuckers were changed to dog ear p90s. I wouldn't be surprised, the tone has a more controlled feedback, and that can be because of a solid central block inside the body (as in rivieras and es335s) +the split tailpiece is common on rivieras.
