Jeff Loomis is the lead guitar player in the Seattle progressive metal band, Nevermore. Loomis has also played solo and with the band Sanctuary.

Hey my friends, jeff is using an maxon od808, way huge green rhino and a mxr stereo chorus and there`s coming a new scheter sig. model, kinda like a v. By the he is using 9-46+66 for strings!

he also played carvin amps,and his distortion pedals (the krank)is just to get his own tone,(of course an ENGL is enough drive,but thats about it,by the way,i might heard wrong as well but i heard that he´s working withprotone pedals for a signature distortion,he also has a black signature schecter now.kick ass player!!!!

the krank distortion pedal isn't really a distortion pedal and more of a overdrive pedal actually so he might just use it to boost the signal

In the past Loomis has also used Peavey(jeff thanks them in TGE), Krank(Dimes Amp), Mesa Boogie (Triple), and Marshall amps.
