Chris Letchford is one of the two guitar players in the progressive rock band Scale the Summit. An interesting fact about Chris is that he plays a wild 8 string guitar custom made by Sherman guitars.

Both of these guitarists now use the Fractal Axe-FX direct in to the PA. Just saw them a few weeks ago with Audio Insight, and that was the only gear they had, other than the footswitch.

Just saw them in Atl. GA in april 2011, and Chris and Travis both were using Mesa 4x12 cabs, Carvin power amps, and of course AXE-FX! and yes Chris has awesome 7 and 8 string custom guitars by Mr. Mike Sherman

he plays all ENGL gear now, including cabs. the Vox was a volume pedal not a wah pedal. runs a Holy Grail Reverb through the effects loop. Has 2 customs from Sherman, 2 more on the way. One custom 7 string from Sherman guitars.
