Gene Simmons is more than just a reality tv star with a long tongue. Gene is one of the founding members of hard rock super group Kiss (who didn't know that!). For quite some time we have wanted to do an article on Gene's bass gear, but it can be hard to find details. Gene has said in interviews that literally any bass and amplifier "will do". While Gene may think that is true, he has been known to rely on certain pieces of bass equipment in his rig.

Let's look at some of the gear and equipment that has been seen in Gene Simmons's more recent Kiss bass rig.
