many thanks
I'm sure just about any other delay will do the trick, really, His sound mostly has to do with mic placement, recording tricks, etc.
I'm not exactly sure how much he uses his TS9, there are a few pictures online (search "Johnny buckland gear") that features what pedals/fx he used for certain songs in that particular gig.
You should be fine, as most of his sound comes from what you already have.
Hi there was just wondering what are the other most used things because i have a client who is after the coldplay sound for the guitars in his recording. I have the proco whiteface rat and the phase 90 but was wondering if the line6 was mandatory. Also does he use the ts9 much?
many thanks felix
I've got a feeling its like the current pedal board theres a picture down bellow in a comment link and probobly most of the guitars are probobly the new Fender Stratocasters
Also according to the book he uses a Marshall Plexi, I assume for some of the 'heavier' songs in Viva La Vida.
That is a Guyatone Micro Chorus. I believe they are discontinued
Whoops!!!!
The pics don't show up here, lol. sorry for the inconvenience.

No longer on his board, but should be included in this section is his tonebender, forget the company name, but he used it in the "X&Y" Era board.
In his current board, he is using a Guyatone micro chorus.
