Kirk Windstein is a sludge metal singer and guitarist for various bands such as Crowbar, Down, and Kingdom of Sorrow.

Saw him using a Dime full stack at the Crowbar show in Tulsa, OK. on 15 Dec. 2010. It seemed like it was new to him though cause he kept messing with the amp settings throughout the show.

i see a bit to much bickering... he uses a totally different set up with Down from Crowbar! so none of this "no he uses this, i seen it!" crap. the Down rig has evolved rapidly and changed often... the Crowbar/KoS rig has in the past, but it has been the most stable. always reverting to Randall RG100ES + Boss Metal zone (eq's at noon, gain at zero, volume at max) and a guitar with EMGs in it. on his current tour he is using the Dean Dimebag SS heads, they are basically a remake of the Randall RG100ES.

Saw him using Esp custom viper guitar, marshall jcm-800 head, marshall 1960 straight cab, Boss metal zone, and boss chromatic tuner at one of crowbars shows this summer!

No, RG100ES heads, same as Dimaebag on the CFH and Trendkill album.

Look up youtube vids of Kingdom of Sorrow and Crowbar. RG100ES is in every video.

He used to use a black gibson gothic sg before the esp endorsement. You can see it in the live with full force dvd, the dead sun video, and performances from the penny arcade.
