here's a newer pic of jades rack, it looks like he's using the diamond heads (i believe those are the phantoms), an ibanez ts-9, a boss digital delay of some sort, a digitech hyper phase, and a blue or black boss pedal, as well as an avid eleven rack effects, a line 6 filter rack system, and a korg rack tuner, if anyone else wants to identify some other things, i believe the blue boss pedal is a old hr-2 harmonizer but im not positive

Quoting Jonny D.:
(more versatile than ANY Marshall I've played)

Never tried a JVM, I see?

I don't see why it's so bad he uses a Dual Rectifier. They've got great, versatile tone (more versatile than ANY Marshall I've played), TONS of options as far as connect-ability to effects, cabs, etc., and they just look awesome. That's just my opinion though. Also, I prefer Les Paul Studios to Customs. I don't like binding, and I also prefer the lighter weight. I'm used to playing a weighty ESP EX model, and since I got my Studio, I've been MUCH happier. Once again, just my opinion. BUT, I do love Jade's tone. His Sing The Sorrow tone was his best, followed by Black Sails and Art of Drowning. Gotta love that badass Mesa tone!

To answer #8:

I read a few years ago that he switched to Les Paul Studios because they're lighter and it was becoming to strenuous on him while touring. It also mentioned something about him still using Customs in the studio though.

Hope this helps!

Why did he downgrade from Les Paul Standards to a Les Paul Studio? If he prefers the 490R/498T pickups that the studio has over the standards '75 humbuckers, then he could have switched to a Les Paul Custom rather than a more cheaply made Studio

How did I know he'd be using a dual-rectifier? Not to hate, but it seems like every post-hardcore/emo/rock band uses them these days. :0
