Sven Pipien is a musician best known as the bassist of the popular hard rock band The Black Crowes. He had formerly played bass with Atlanta-based Mary My Hope, who released one album on Silvertone Records. Sven also played with King Bee, a Miami-based blues-rock band from 2001-2002

Just caught the Crowes again last night, and was surprised to see Sven playing through a pair of Acoustic heads and either 6 or 8x10 cabs. The Aguilars weren't even on the stage.
