Brandon Saller is the drummer for Orange County, California metalcore band Atreyu. He also does vocals for the band's choruses, as well as being a primary song writer who occasionally helps compose Atreyu's lyrics.

Let's look at some of the gear and equipment that has been seen in Atreyu drummer Brandon Saller's drum kit.

Drums

Brandon uses a Truth Custom Drums kit with black acrylic shells. (Diameter x Depth)

Third bass drum is definetly for looks.. I saw them lift up the front of it and pull some beers out of it like it was a refridge!

you should put up his new set up i saw them live in ohio on 4/19/10 and his drums are truth drums

not sure on a color it was an all wood sparkle would guess an orenge or silver sparkle with small tube lugs same cymblas if you email back i have pics

The center bass drum is smaller, but I'm not sure if he even uses that one. I know of some drummers who use three bass drums as shown but they only play with two. The third one is there for looks and to help hold up the kit. Don't know if that's the case here though.

i remember when i saw them live that one of them didn't have a Mic on it.
it could be used to just hold the toms / cymbals, if ya got the money to why not do it.

I really like his set-up, especially like in the picture here. I prefer at 15" hi-hat to a 14", the overall sound of it is a lot better to my ears, but that might just be me.

I'm not sure if it's the angling of the picture or what, but the middle bass drum actually looks a bit smaller than the other two. Can anyone give some insight on this?
