Chad Kroeger is the lead singer and lead guitarist of the major band Nickelback. Most people don't realize that Chad Kroeger actually plays the guitar in Nickelback - but he does, and he does it well.

Ive also heard he uses a Marshall JCM 900 in the studio with the Boogies. The tone on the albums sounds for sure like more then one amp tracked together. Problem is these big name guys can use so much stuff in the studio that who knows what really makes the tone.

Yeah, he is a Gibson endorsed artist, as far as I know he has been for a while now, and has a signature Les Paul coming out later this year.

Also, he uses Mesa Stilletto Dueces with the Triple
Rec's according to the Mesa website.
