Best overdrive pedal for the $?

Our buddy Miles has major G.A.S. over the Wampler Tumnus overdrive pedal. Could it be the best Klon-style OD pedal for the price? Check this pedal out!

Eric Blessthefall's Rig 12 years 6 months ago #505

Hey guys,

I just got off tour with these guys this past spring and they always had amazingly piercing tone each night. Here's my best guess at what exactly he was using

Gibson Les Paul Silverburst Studio
Gibson Les Paul Standerd White Finish?

I think he always has a Scheter Tempest? But I don't think he uses that live

Black Dimarzio Straps

Boss DD6
Boss NS2
Boss TU2

Ernie Ball Volume Pedal Jr? Not sure if it's the junior or not

Mesa 4x12 Slant Cab
Engl Powerball 100watt

Sennheiser ecw200 wireless?

I know it's the recently discontinued model.

Hope someone enjoys that though!

Awesome info Elliot. A couple questions for you man,

1. Want to do a feature interview on UberProAudio about your rig, band, etc... (I can email you separately about this if you are up for it)?

2. There are some great pictures on flickr that help with Eric's rig. Check these out:

A good picture of The Exact Pedalboard you described

The Amp, Cab, and pedals as you described

The white les paul is a Studio . The pic also shows the black Dimarzio cliplock strap

Now the big question - are those gear pics above all Eric's gear or are they Mikes? I can't tell who is who in some of the pics. If they are Eric's, then we are set to put together a rig page for the site, as we have all the info in that case.

Re:Eric Blessthefall's Rig 12 years 6 months ago #507

Yeah I'd be down to do an interview even though my rig is still a work in progress =]

Everything you provided me looked right, It seems both his gibsons are studios, I wasn't a 100% on them both being that. I think that you've got it all locked down for the most part. I'm not sure what all he's used in the past but we've got everything he presently uses nailed.

Also, I'm pretty sure Mike's rig is

Some sort of Bogner head, ts808, ns2, tu2, mesa 4x12, dimarzios, and Gibson Studios/ Schecter Tempests.

Hope that helps when looking between the two.

Excellent. We'll email you. fyi - removed your email addy from the post to protect your privacy from the masses :)

Also will work on getting the rig page setup for these guys.

Re:Eric Blessthefall's Rig 12 years 6 months ago #509

Much appreciated =]

I also forgot to put that Mike just bought the ecw300? the newest model of Sennheiser that just came out. It's the $499 one

Re:Eric Blessthefall's Rig 12 years 5 months ago #541

Hello there ^_^

Recently, they've been using Marshall Cabs including an...

ENGL RITCHIE BLACKMORE SIGNATURE E 650 (I think it's Mike's)

And an...

ENGL POWERBALL E 645 (I think it's Eric's)

Saw it on this vid --> www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK2d40AiUY0

Ow, and Eric also uses a Gibson Les Paul Stuio Silverburst & Fireburst.

Also a Gibson Les Paul Custom Silverburst

I appreciate you guys for researching their rig as well ^_^ Thanks & God bless you

Keep in mind bands rent equipment when going overseas to fit the electricity. I'll be able to find out exact details for all their rigs soon.
