steve also used either a duo-sonic or a mustang in the early days -- pictures in the deluxe reissue of superfuzz bigmuff

Well the Gretsch is a guitar that he uses live all the time. if you search for images of him you will always see him with a sparkle jet live. The SG i believe he uses sometimes when he borrows it from Mark Arm but thats only on certain occasions.

I see that Mark uses the SG and Gretsch. What is your source of info for this - did Steve definitely use these guitars?

He also uses Gibson SGs and Gretsch Duo Jets.
