Jon Foreman Guitar Rig pictures

Big thanks to  pian0keys88 for hooking us up with permission to use some pictures of Jon Foreman's Switchfoot guitar rig (he gave us the one of the guitars in the rack and also the one of the pedal board).

I'm not positive that Jon uses taylor electrics very often but lately he has been using two PRS guitars...a mira and a starla, both red with humbuckers.

According to Visual Sound's website, Jon uses a V2 Jekyll and Hyde, V2 Route 66, and a V2 Route 808

"...V2 Series V2 Jekyll & Hyde, V2 Route 66, V2 Route 808, and the ever steady 1 SPOT to power it all..."

thats a 614ce my mistake, you can tell from the big leaf maple on the sides, the 600 series is the only series from Taylor that has big leaf maple

I can tell you for certain that is not a 214ce. That is an 814ce. How do I know, It has a different type of Cutaway then the 214ce and It has abalone around the sound hole. :cheer:

He doesn't use the DM-4, live at least.
He may in the studio, but not live.

He has also used a 65 amp...
Drew S. uses these more than him, but Drew isn't on here.

The Boss Digital Delay is a DD-5...
*Note the tempo/exp input. The DD-3 nor the DD-6 have this feature...

I went to a Switchfoot concert in September and in all the newer concerts he has been using Taylor electrics almost exclusivly. He used two a white classic humbucker and a red classic I believe. before Taylor came out with the solid-body electrics Jon used a T5 quite often.

hello,

i recently went to a switchfoot show and saw that jon foreman uses a Visual Sound Jekyll and Hyde V2 instead of the DM-4 you have listed. i do not have a picture, but as a backup information, the Visual sounds website says he uses the V2 Jekyll and Hyde.
