Shavo Odadjian is the bassist for the Armenian American-based alternative metal band System of a Down and a member of the group Achozen.

If you want a bass DI pedal for good tone, you wanna get the MXR M-80 DI+
it has distortion aswell, its used by In Flames, Marilyn Manson, Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne and tons more metal bands.

Not 100% sure on the exact Sansamp bass pedal. The best info out there just says sansamp bass pedal. However there weren't that many sansamp bass pedals to choose from (there are some more models made
recently though).
