What kind of guitar cable does he use? it looks BIG, is it custom?

I read an article somewhere that Derek also has 2 blackface vibrochamps and when he uses them they are always dimed out.

I was watching "Derek Truck Band: Songlines" on HDNet today when I spotted Derek tuning in silence and looking down at the ground. When a wider shot was available I had a look and he had a Peterson Strobo Tuner between his SG and his Fender amp. I guess he does technically use one effect pedal!!

Prior to the SG / Super Reverb combination, Derek played Washburn guitars and Randall amps, both of which he advertised for in guitar magazines in the 90ies. You can still see the Randall in the Almann Bros DVD "Live at The Beacon Theatre, NY" from 2003

He obviously went through different speakers in the Super, one foto shows it loaded with green Tone Tubby 40/40 ceramics.

On both the Almann Bros and DTB DVDs, Derek uses coricidine bottle style slides with heavy bottoms (which make for more sustain than an open slide)

When I saw DTB at the Wiltern in Los Angeles this April and Derek busted out an Old Black Supro electric (Dual Tone?) and a vintage Gibson Firebird and got a beautiful sound out of them!
