Wayne Static is an American musician, and currently the singer, guitarist, keyboardist, and programmer for the industrial metal band Static-X.

Wayne's rig is super affordable and very minimal. This is the type of rig anybody can own.

- ESP Wayne Static Signature ESP STATIC-600 with black diamond plate finish (equipped with a single Seymour Duncan Distortion at the bridge)

- ESP Wayne Static 600V guitar

- Wayne used Epiphone Wayne Static Signature Flying Vs (with neck pickups and toggle switches removed and using Seymor Duncan Distortion pickups) before being endorsed by ESP in early 2007.

- Marshall 4x12 Cabinets (loaded with two Celestion Vintage 30's on top and two G75's on bottom)

SD   |2010-04-04 04:05:51 I just toured with them around Europe last year and they didn't use heads or cabs! All he used was a rack which had 2 rackmount line 6 pods and 2 wireless units. It then went straight to the PA! That was it! No pedals and no cabs! Reply 0   0

grardnr   |2010-01-24 03:01:34 Solid State amps get a pretty bad rap, they aren't as shit as everyone makes out (cue the epic rage at me). SS amps give a different tone to tube amps, it's much harsher and fuzzier. Additionally they don't break down as much and are generally cheaper. Reply 1   0

new guitar   |2009-01-27 01:54:54 wayne has a new esp v guitar instead of his explorer style guitar, it's on esp's website. and to the "cheap crap" comment, just because it's cheap and a solid state doesn't make it a crappy amp. it just goes to show you don't need a $2000 amp to get a good sound. nater tater   |2008-05-15 14:33:29 everything here looks about right, the only thing i see to be wrong is the cab. im pretty sure he uses the MG head but goes into a Marshall 1960 A cab (but you did get the speakers right) Reply 1   0
