Lamb of God - Mark Morton's Guitar Gear Rig and Equipment E-mail

Mark Morton is one of the two guitarists in the American heavy metal band Lamb of God. He has had a signature deal with Jackson Guitars. Morton has a fairly minimalistic guitar rig, but it sure sounds good.

Let's look at what gear and equipment has been seen in Lamb Of God's Mark Morton's Guitar Rig.

seymour duncan says he uses them, I've seen them a bunch of times and never seen it. Maybe he did for some short stint not sure.

Does anyone know how they get the tone to sound electronic in walk with me in hell or the the part after the riff on laid to rest
luke   |2009-12-23 18:03:06
umm yeah, pick-ups wise, both Mark Morton and Willie Adler use Seymour Duncan 59's in the bridge and neck position
Brad   |2009-12-28 02:38:08
mark does, willie uses jb 59, but mark has several dominions with swapped pickups
Abj Kh.   |2009-08-20 02:22:34
he uses seymour duncan invader at the bridge.. dunno about the breed tho..
John Verber   |2009-10-15 11:04:34
He uses Seymour Duncan 59's in the bridge. Not invader's...how you gonna get Avenged Sevenfold and LOG mixed up?
Karl  - Invaders   |2009-10-15 15:27:33
He did use Invaders at one point, i remember seeing them on one of his Dominion guitars, then he put emg covers ontop of them but i don't think he still uses them? but i'm sure he did at one point
Karl   |2009-07-16 11:02:35
I doubt he'd be using an Adrian Smith model, it was probably just a regular Jackson San Dimas model
uberpro   |2009-07-16 11:04:39
No....He actually has the Adrian Smith model! http://www.jacksonguitars.com/news/index.php?display_article=64
Karl   |2009-08-12 21:55:15
Oh so he does, thanks a lot! =]
ittoa666   |2009-05-15 09:53:29
I saw lama of god last night and Mark also used a black sls soloist and an adrian smith signature model.
Taylor  - ZW wah too   |2009-04-15 20:33:55
Mark also uses a Zakk Wylde Crybaby as stated in GuitarPlayer magazine
Sean   |2009-01-06 11:39:36
Umm no, he doesen't use EMGs, he put the EMG cover over the SD 59' to stop sweat from dripping into it from his picking hand.
