Paul Gilbert is a guitarist best known for his work with Racer X and Mr. Big. Following his departure from Mr. Big, in which he played with Uber bass player Billy Sheehan, in 1996, Gilbert pursued a solo career. Paul Gilbert has been shredding on his electric guitar ever since.

Rick   |2010-07-07 00:17:47 In case anyone cares to know, the pink pepto bismol Ibanez Telesavalas he plays in the Intense Rock I video, has a Seymour Duncan SH-5 in the bridge, and a Seymour Duncan mini humbucker in the neck. Obviously he doesn't use those anymore, but the SH-5 is a nice equivalent to the DiMarzio Tone Zone (another pickup he states he uses in an old DiMarzio interview). They basically have that "PAF pro on sterioids" tone. Reply 1   0
