Slash used a JCM800 2203 at the Ritz show, which was his main live amp from 1987-1988. He did have a 2210 set up on stage, but it would only be used as a backup. If you watch the Ritz show, you will see that the 2210 is not on or plugged in. The 2203 was used for the entire show. The 2210 was no longer used on stage after Slash acquired the Jubilee 2555.

I Think SLASH is an AMAZING Guitarist, Live and in Studio!!! And whoever said Slash sucks cuz he dont have a lot of effects, then you suck!!! Sure Satch, Steve Vai and Buckethead have tons of effects, but It's a lot easier to listen to nice bluesy hard rock than a bunch of not-neaded Fx mucking up the mix!!! And ive seen All those guy's rigs and its hard to tell whats what!!! and slash only operates his Signature Wahs and Talkbox onstage, Making his job basically just to ROCK!!!

Slash is a very different guitarist. He plays with a style that others have tried to copy but failed. He only uses his Marshall distortion, which is a good clean, but still very high in gain sound. I was told that all you need to be a good guitarist is a good guitar, and a an amp with a distortion on it. All the other pedals are only add on effects to make your music more diverse.

i agree with alex! just cuz they dont use alot of afects doesnt mean they are [censored]! Ace Fehley didnt use like any effects and he still kicked ass, and Angus Young didnt use any effects and he [censored]in kills, slash is awesome in his own bluesy kind of way thats what makes him a rock legend no wait a rock GOD!!!!!

i don´t think so, slash is a great but also very simple guitarrist, he´s got a nice tone, but he really doesn´t sounds to have a big pedalboard, not like steve vai or satch or buckethead whos stages should look like minefields with all those pedal and efx. slash, my first guitarrist
