Amplifiers Notes: Slash is the first musician to own a signature amp created for him by Marshall.

Notes: For the recording of Velvet Revolver's debut, Slash told Guitar Player mag he used a Vox AC30 and small Fender tube amps (for "oddball" sounds). Live, he only uses Marshalls.

For the recording of Velvet Revolver's second CD / Libertad, he told Total Guitar mag that he used the new Marshall Vintage Modern 2466 amp.

Slash used a JCM800 2203 at the Ritz show, which was his main live amp from 1987-1988. He did have a 2210 set up on stage, but it would only be used as a backup. If you watch the Ritz show, you will see that the 2210 is not on or plugged in. The 2203 was used for the entire show. The 2210 was no longer used on stage after Slash acquired the Jubilee 2555.
